Creative Wellness Retreat

July 25, 2026

We are so excited to announce our first retreat!  This will be a one day retreat, where you can gather with other women to explore your creativity, engage in thoughtful conversation, enjoy quiet moments, create community, reconnect with the little girl within and have some good old-fashioned fun!!

This retreat is geared to be both inspiring and restorative…”an intentional, soul-filling, judgement -free time to just…be.”

It will be an all day event with workshops, special guests and yummy food!  We’ll play with flowers, watercolours and clay. There will be fun group activities and quiet free time to create, read, journal, pamper yourself…you decide!

our team

We are delighted to have these amazing women take part in our retreat!

Stacey Heldman

Therapist/Social Worker

Stacey is a Nature Therapist with 12 years of experience in the mental health field. She uses this training to help individuals become the best version of themselves while they interact with nature and exercise.

She has helped individuals struggling with various mental, emotional and social issues such as postpartum mood disorder, early and late pregnancy loss, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, substance misuse and abuse.

She is passionate about helping others be the best version of themselves while engaging in light activity and nature.

Tracy Estey-Willick

Manual Osteopath/Yoga Instructor

Tracy is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner with over 15 years of experience.

Tracy’s treatments are based on the idea that the whole body is inter-related. The goal of each treatment is to assist the body to restore balance, thus allowing a state of greater health to occur.

Her extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology allows her to give highly effective treatments. It is her belief that she and the client are in a partnership working towards optimal health.

Willow of WILDfleur

Herbalist/Nature Lover

Willow has been an herbalist for 11 years and a passionately protective Nature Lover her entire life.

She shares the wisdom of plant medicines through her line of herbal beverages, takes people on intentionally explorative nature walks, stewards the land as a plant medicine farm & pollinators sanctuary, and guides people through embodiment rituals to connect with heart and body.

This year she is focusing on growing even more flowers for her wild flying friends, launching a full-season herbalist program, attending even more farmers markets around the Maritimes, AND has begun training as a midwife.

Gentle Yoga

The lovely Tracy will be leading us in some gentle yoga to get our day started right.  She will gear toward beginners.  Chairs will be available for anyone with mobility constraints.  We want to make sure everyone is able to participate!

Group Discussion

We were fortunate enough to meet Stacey last year at one of our “Copper Kettle Societ-tea” meetings.  She’ll help us unpack our vision boards a bit during a group chat and will be taking part all day so she is able to talk with you and get to know you better!

Tea Blending

Sweet Willow will be here to teach us health benefits of different herbs and flowers and will be helping us create our very own tea blend to take home!  She is very passionate about what she does and she’s so excited to help us with our well-being journey!

relax

“Taking time to relax is essential for both mental and physical well-being.  Relaxation helps reduce stress, improve concentration, and promote overall health.”

We want to ensure you have some time to relax while you’re here…that looks different for everyone.  So, we came up with options to help you do that.  There will be a station with air dry clay projects, embroidery, puzzles, art supplies and more!  You could pamper yourself with a foot soak or facial!  If you want to take a nap…we have blankets!

Some thrive on being with others and some need a little time alone…that will be totally up to you!

restore

We firmly believe that using creativity increases happiness; helps reduce stress, depression and anxiey; gives an outlet for emotions that may otherwise be difficult to express; as well as  help improve cognitive abilities.

During this retreat, you will take part in three workshops.

Vision Board

The first will be creating a vision board.  The purpose of this will be to remind us of the things we loved as children, explore what our dreams are now and help us set a few fun goals!

Watercolour Painting

The second will be a sip and paint with watercolours.  You can follow along with the painting we will be leading; choose from a selection of templates or paint something completely original!

Flower Pounding

The third will be flower pounding.  “Flower pounding is an artistic technique that involves hammering fresh flowers onto a medium to transfer their pigments and create beautiful patterns.”  In this workshop, you’ll be creating a gorgeous tote bag!

meals

We will start the day at 8:30, with a light breakfast…fruit, muffins, yogurt, juice and tea/coffee.

For lunch you will get your very own picnic “basket” comprised of a delicious roasted turkey sandwich made on a baguette, with chips, cheese, fruit and homemade lemonade to drink.  Dessert will be Sussex Ice Cream!!

We’re gonna have some fun with supper and “make your own pizza”!!  We’ll supply the dough and lots of yummy toppings, but you get to roll it out and build it the way you want!  Then we’ll cook it in our fired pizza ovens.  We’ll also serve Caesar salad, bread sticks and your choice of iced tea or pop to drink.  Dessert will be strawberry shortcake on homemade biscuits…yum!!

Tea, coffee and water will be available all day.

We will do our best to accommodate gluten-free/food allergies, although there may be an additional fee.

We really want this retreat to be uplifting, encouraging and fun!  As women, we wear a lot of hats.  We wanted to create a day for you to be able to take all your hats off!

It was very important to us to make this retreat as cost effective as possible to help you be able to take part.

The cost for the entire day is

$175

This is a rain or shine event.
