The greenhouse is full of romance. It’s natural light washes everything with the most spectacular golden glow…perfect for capturing exquisite photos of all your special occasions.
In addition to it’s beautiful antique windows and doors, it has charming salvaged features like 19th century corbels, fireplace surround and the gilt mirror that adorns the mantle.
Cloaked in seasonal plants and flowers, it really is the loveliest place to sit and relax and share a moment.
The TeaRoom
Our beautiful greenhouse becomes a tearoom Sunday afternoons from 2 to 4:30. As seating is limited in the greenhouse, bookings are recommended, but there is plenty of additional seating in the courtyard and around the grounds. Last seating is 3:45.
Treat yourself to something truly extraordinary and join us for a classic English Afternoon Tea! With a selection of delicious finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones topped with homemade strawberry preserves & clotted cream and an assortment of decadent confections, it will be a real delight for your tastebuds! The perfect way to spend an afternoon!
Afternoon tea bookings must be made 48 hours in advance.
Private Events
If you are looking for a unique and enchanting venue for your special event, the greenhouse is available to hire.
It’s the perfect space for weddings, receptions, birthdays, showers, photography, workshops, work events and more!
To help make your day even more special (and worry free), we offer catering and decorating. We have a large inventory of tableware, textiles, furniture and decor.
Small Events (25 or fewer) $85/hr
Large Events (more than 25) $125/hr
(Minimum 2 hour bookings)
